Wow, It has been too long... Whats new... Zumba, summer coming, hair, etc

Hey Readers!!
If I still have any! IT was been way too long since I have posted anything... Since NOV! omg.. I have miss my blog, my fellow bloggers, and just reading all my favorite blogs too. Well since NOV a lot has happened. Curtis and I have a great Christmas and new years even though I was away for New Years we still had a great one.. We did Facebook kisses :)) The reason I was away I was visiting my mother all the way up in MAINE! It was super cold and yes I flew all by my lonesome. It was a wonderful trip.

So now.. I am still doing my Photography, and I have made some new great friends and lost a few... I think it happens for the best. Well My mom is coming down in June/July. We are going to the beach in FL! We are going on the the gulf side of FL because it the prettiest. I have never see the beach in FL so I am very excited! Which gets me to a new topic I am starting Zumba classes this week.
The Zumba Project!
I have taken Zumba before which I was in college in Greenwood. I had to stay fit! ;) So I know it works and I know it will work again! And I dont have to have a gym membership to take the class which I am happy about! It is $5 a class and I am going on Tuesday and Thursday. But since I am doing it only on two days out of the week. I am going to be jogging/ walking on the days in between. I am really excited, I gotta look hot for the beach this year! I am really going to stick to it too.... I am hanging up my swimsuit to remind me everyday that I wanna look good in my 2 piece. So each week I will take a photo in my swimsuit up intill my trip and record my process and hope to share with you all! yay! Have any of yall done Zumba?

Spring is coming...
So what are yall excited about spring this year?
I am excited to start my garden of lots of veggies and I planted poppy flowers this year and I am excited to see them this year!

Hey!!
I have very very busy!
Crafting, editing pictures, getting ready for Thanksgiving, and doing photoshoots! I just have been busy..
I have been having fun with my crafting, I have made bows and hearts, owls, and much much more!! I haven't taken an good pictures, which I will do very very soon.
I just wanted to do a real fast post. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and is excited about Thanksgiving and Black Friday that is coming up at the end of the week.
Oh and also add to the busy life of Courtney, I am watching my sister Doggie while she in wonderful cold Maine visiting my mom, which I get to fly up in DEC.. Which that is very exciting as well.
So how is everyone? What are yall's plans for Thanksgiving?
This year Curtis and I aren't cooking the big meal, we are going to his mom's and we are going to my Grandmothers. So I am baking 2 chocolate Coke cola cakes and Sweet potatoes.

Well I better I gotta get some things finished and I wanna up date my Photography Blog!

Hey!
I thought to add a wonderful little thing I thought that would be nice to add to The Happiness Project. like yesterday I said for week 2 I wanted to be crafty. So far it's going good.. I have crafted a little today too. I created a cute little pink flower. Which your will see in at the end of this post. I am hoping to add something everyday this week to my Happy Jar.. I added a few things to it to day.

There are lots more that makes me happy but that is just a few I added today (: Do this I believe will help me to remember what all makes me happy and that I am very thankful for what I have in my life today.. Even if it's just small things.

Family is one big thing that makes me happy and this Saturday I am doing family pictures of my family and of me. I am the one that came up with the idea.. It's a great thing we are all getting together and spending some time together, even though not all like their picture taken.. That we should remember the reason why we doing them.

Sorry if I am just rambling. Anywho here is the pictures! (:

The Happiness Project & Crafting

Hey lovely Readers!
I hope everyone is have a nice chilly week!! A lot has been going on and I have a busy weekend ahead of me!!!

First off: Week one of The Happiness Project didn't go over so well.. One I hurt my foot, which it is still hurting. I can't walk a lot and if I do it starts to hurt a lot! It sucks because it has been going on for a week now. And no its no broken which is good I guess... hmmm But I have been trying to not get too many sweets which is good right??

Anywho You saw on my last post that Melissa and I made super cute sugar skulls... Well today I finished my girl sugar skull and also made a Cupcake Hair bow! Which the Cupcake is my favorite.. I hoping to make a few more... and I am working on some other crafty things... ( I so wanna be crafty) So Thats what I am going to do... So... Who wants to see pics!!!??? I do!

See aren't they super cute... (: Please let me know what yall think.. I am thinking of creating an etsy store which I wanna sale these, my photography, and jewelry that I will make and anything else I can think of...

So Trashy Betty and I have getting ready for good old Christmas! Which I am getting excited about. This year for Christmas I am doing Cheetah Print and Red for my Christmas Decor Colors. Which I think its fun and Classy... And of Course lots of Glitter!! You can't have Christmas without it! -LOL

Tonight Melissa from Trashy Betty and I decided we'd dig throught the craft "closet" and throw something together! She really liked my felt owls and woodland fox- so we decided after talking about holiday decor that we'd make some sugar skull ornaments! DO keep in mind - we are first-timers at the sugar skull ornaments! However, we had lots of fun- which made it all the matter!!! Happy Crafting!!!

The Happiness Project: Week One!!

Hi!
Trashy Betty and I are doing our own little twist to the Happiness project that The life of a Cupcake! is doing... It really got me thinking and I think it be perfect because one Winter is coming... We all get a little depressed when the cold months are here.. I know I do! So why not do little things to promote happiness and write about it in our blogs?! We are doing it for the Month of NOV and DEC. 8 weeks total.

Each week we will have a different challenge from it be taking pictures or dancing around to a new song every day! We welcome anyone to join our little project and share your thoughts and ideas!!! And we like to thanks The life of a Cupcake! inspiring us to create our own little Happiness Project!

Being happy is important in mind, spirit, and in body. Melissa and I have chosen to make a lifestyle change today and begin to make out bodies happy! We will be dedicating 1.5 hr.'s every weekday solely to cardio and personal training. Along with this, we have also made promises to each other to make healthier food choices.

But recently, I found something that helps me with that. Pictures. With pictures, no matter what my mood might be that day… no matter what I may be feeling at the time, I can just pick up my camera, take a few and do whatever I please to them. It’s a freedom that I think I always will enjoy, to capture the moment in anything.

I’m inspired by mostly everyday things; things that people don’t always quite notice. The things that are right in front of you but yet you have no time to slow down and really see them. hey guys!!!
I miss yall! I have been gone way too long!!! I have been super busy and just haven't had the time to do a post! How is everyone doing? I am doing great and my photography has really taken off! Yall should go check out my photography blog. CourtneyR Photography.

So who is excited about the Fall??? I know I am.. This weekend it so feels like fall time. It was 60 degrees today.. very chilly compared to 90 degree weather it is very chilly..

Well a lot has happened since I posted last. For one I am a Red HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I will post a picture at the end!!!! Also coming Oct. 17th I wil be Vending with Miss Trashy Betty at the Hard Knox Chopper Ball, so I have been getting ready for that, I have so much I gotta get done. We are very excited about that.

Also on September 6th Curtis and I had our 2nd year anni! Yes it has been 2 years and counting.Hmmm
On a sadder note.... Miss Chelsea passed away this past month. She was my Aussie Shepherd and collie mixed... If you have read my older blog would have known her.... If you are just now following and reading. She was my baby, she was very dear to me! And she just went the wrong way out of this world. Someone was mean and killed her. ): Chelsea will never be forgotten.

Enough of the sadness.. I should start back posting real soon! Fall is just around the corner and I will be posting all sorts of things!!!!! ps don't forget to check out my photography blog!!!

Hey yall!

I have been such a slacker when it comes to blogging.. Well this past Saturday was my Birthday, I Turned 23. I don't feel much difference, but there are some things I want change and do. I want to be a more creative, better, and loving person. And still be the artist I am today. Sometimes I don't think I am an artist, but an artist can be many things. Right? I also want to become a better writer and write meaningful things.

There are other things I like to get done with this new year, my new year. Like work on my Gypsy and Hippie sitting area and paint my Kitchen. Which we have picked out the colors.. I am going for a wine theme (: Lots and lots of things and places I am going to see and do in my new year. Did I tell yall we are going to Salem, MA and Maine in Oct! yes we are.. We are very excited, well be going during the prettiest season and Halloween is the time to go to Salem.. (: We like to travel, we just haven't done anything year, now we take little day trips and site see. Curtis and I have been doing a lot of hiking and going to waterfalls here lately. Which its very nice. Anyways I am going to go... Curtis should home here soon Night everyone

Wine and Flowers

Hey! Today I am posting some of my favorite wines... They are all red wines. I am not big on white, i believe its too dry.

This used to be the only type of Red Wine I would drink. This is my favorite brand for Pinot Noir besides Bolt, I believe its called. Not 100% sure. You can get this bottle at Wine market in Greenville SC for $12 and some change.
This bottle is merlot. Its very tasty. Its pretty cheap too.. I got it at Bi-Lo one night for $8. I like the bottle logo design.
This is my all time favorite and I can only get it from this winery. It is located in Charleston SC on Market St, and you pick it up or order it for $20. Lord Ashley is the name of the type of wine (:
I found this wine one night while I was at walmart. I have never had sweet red wine and this was a big bottle and the label was pretty cool. Well Its my favorite cheap wine. Its sweet and has no cheap wine after taste. Very fruity too.. I paid $6 and some change.

I brought this wine the other day at Aldes for $3, I havent open it yet, I love the little owl on the bottle very cute(: Has anyone tried this one?

Our yard after we fixed the flower beds now going to need to add some flowers. (:

Hey yall!!
It has been awhile since I have posted anything and i feel really bad! I have been very busy! So to catch yall up on everything this is what has happened:
I got my awesome new Canon!
I have done some really neat shoots and my Gypsy shoot is this Saturday (:
The flower beds for the font yard are finished! I just have to add some more little plants and flowers..
Father's day weekend I went to Anderson Car Show. I got some pretty neat photos...
then.... I lost my internet for a week and half ): and I just got it back yesterday. I used up all my 8gs. I so wish I had regular internet. !!
I am very sad that I missed The Tea Party that was on the 25th. ):
Monday Curtis and I went water fall findings.. which was really awesome!! We took some awesome photos!

things I need to finish and start:
Curtis' mom gave us this awesome bench which we going to sandblast it and paint it bright red!
Work on my prints for my living room wall.

Plan more theme shoots

Theme Shoots

I am hoping to start planning some theme photo shoots. I would like to do one a month, at least. I also would like to have 3 to 5 models for each shoot. With each shoot I am hoping to have a make-up artist, but I am not 100% sure. Each photo shoot includes 10-25 photos, 1 1/2 hour photo session time. Just Busy

Hey yall
I am still here and alive. I just have been pretty busy with life I suppose. This past week I haven't been feeling well. I don't know what wrong, I have the pain in my lower rib area and it is very painful. I have been off my diet so I have had crappy energy so I have been sleeping all day and getting zero done :\ I think it because of all these dang carbs I am in taking. Tuesday I felt awful with pains and a massive head ache! But I got out of bed at 5!!!!! PM and met Curtis for dinner, we went to Outback. Which I had a glass of cold sweet tea.. Which I think my last glass was back in the 1st of April. I gotta get back on track. I am going insane and I think I have gain some weight back :( Which makes me upset! If we are going to go to FL in July I gotta get back on this diet.
I feel better when I limit my Carb intake. I just got to get back in the groove of things.
Well tomorrow we are hoping of picking up my new camera which happens to be a DSLR. yes, my VERY own!! No more borrowing.. Anywho I am going to, I just feel awful and I think i am going to try and get some rest.

I hope not all of my followers have forgotten about me!!

Hello! Down here in South Carolina Summer is officially started! It was 99 degrees ----> very hot when you add the humidity to it! Today Is June 1st about to be June 2nd and I wanted to do a little post of the things I want to do this summer and such here in the month of June. As you can see I have my little list on the right side of this little blog. But these few things are simple and small. (nothing too crazy) :P

Create a Summer CD/Playlist for little road trips Curtis and I may take this summer (: What is ya'lls favorite summer music?
Paint my kitchen! It has been white for way too long! Our cabinets are white with gray/blue counter tops. We are wanting to paint the walls an Olive Green color. And add touches of blues, blue/green.
Read a good summer/love story. I love the Notebook, Dear John, anything that is based here in the carolinas. Do ya'll have any good reads?
Go to the Beach, I want to go somewhere this summer. We haven't been to the coast in a year. We went to Charleston SC which I loved! But only spent one day at the beach. Since Charleston on a harbor the beach is about 45 mins away. I am wanting to go some where in FL or if we go with our friends it would be in here in SC.
Go to the Smokeout Which this is a Motorcycle Rally. We Might go we might not. Too many of our friends that were going to go are not now. We really want to though.
Do more Photography work.
Get more Fit.
Go on a trip with my best friend kayla!

Friday Night!

Hey y'all,

It has been an ok Friday, I haven't done anything wonderful today but I did go for a jog with Miss Chelsea, my Aussie Shep. Which she loves to run and a great partner that will never say, "I don't feel like it today"... hahaha anyways. I made yummy egg-less cupcakes, I had a box of devils food cake mix but no eggs.... So I decided who needs eggs lets try without them. Which they turned out to be very moist and yummy, they just didn't rise as much as they would have if I added the eggs. Today was the 1st day in month since I have baked anything and I was kinda guity because Curtis and I haven't had any bakes goods in a long time since we have been on a low-carb diet. Which I have lost a good bit of weight my clothes are much looser! (: I say at least 10 lbs. Which Curtis has lost over 20 lbs. Yay!

Well Tomorrow I am doing a Lady Gaga/80's theme photo shoot. Which I have 3 models and a make-up artist. We are all very excited and as soon as I can I will post a sneak peek. So I have on Weheartit.com looking for inspiration and trying to get a look together... I have a vision all up in my head just trying to get it together. here are some lovelies (:

Inspiration for a Painting

Hello Today I am posting some things that inspire me. I am starting to work on a painting and getting everything ready for it. I guess you can say organize for it. So I have been on We heart it looking at photos and such. There are some lovely things on that site, and I know that some bloggers hate that site. The thing I like it is that you can find what you really looking for unlike doing a google search. But anyways here it goes!

Today was a great day!!! Went to the mall and spend the day with my muffin till he had to go to work. I also went to Utral and got some cute bubble gum lipstick and a new eye liner <--- Which I so needed a new one. But today I brought my 1st ever lipstick!! I have never worn or bought it. The lady had to show me how to put it on!!! I know crazy! I also got some $3 Ray bans style sunglasses from Hot Topic, they are super cute!!! Then later I went to my cuz, Ryan's to swim (: Anyways who ready for pics???

Hello!! Today was a good, I just woke up with a major headache! I was planning on going to my cuz, Ryan's to go swimming and tan but I just wasn't feeling well and the sun and heat would have made it worst! Hey guys! I have started my online photography portfolio and I would like to share it with you all (: But while I was creating this page I was trying to come up with a name... I wanted it to be very simple and straight to the point. So I decide to call it courtneyRphotography and I am very excited to be sharing my work with the world.

I have been so effie about posting my work and sharing it because of some do try and take peoples work and call it their own. And well I am a little worried about that. Hey Y'all today Music Monday is all about Rihanna! Now I am really just loving her style but I have always loved her voice! She is so daring and just out there! Not like Lady Gaga but more girly.

I am posting two videos one of a song and one of a her new Perfume. (:

Now I haven't heard of this song till I started looking for a song to share. Now if you are 12 I wouldn't watch this video, but its so sexy and just dirty. not like the S&M video which I am not a fan of because its just not for me. But this has a sexy, wow feel to it. and I love the Castle as the back drop of the video!

Super Busy Week

Hey guys! I have not forgotten about y'all ! I have been very busy with family things and with my brother being down this week. I have had a great week and weekend though there was some ups and downs. The ups were out weigh the downs. Well I did take lots of photos, though I didn't get any family photos liked I wanted. ): I did get some.

Also Yesterday Curtis and I went to the Jazz Club last night which it was amazing good fun! Deb, Curtis sister met up with us too. Well I am off.. I just wanted to pop in and say hey and I am still alive (: Also I got my did Friday!!! Which I love it!! I got it cut and colored at Blondies which Miss Casey is the mastermind behind it (:

Crazy Weekend and Mother's Day.

Hey everybody! How was everyones weekend and their Mother's Day? Mine was good; just a little busy. I think I did something everyday. I just wished my Mama was her for Mothers Day. Well I am wanting to share what I did this weekend with yall! So here it is broken down; photos include :)

Friday

I got my taxes back Friday and well I wanted to go shopping for a summer outfit. So Ingrid and I went to the mall here in Anderson. We had so much fun trying on goofy things and trying on cute clothes that we wished we could have gotten. But I did buy a summer outfit. A super cute summer dress and some Jessica Simpson heels, that of course they were both on sale!! I love my little outfit. I am have worn my outfit but I didnt get

great photos of it. So I am going to do a post on it later (:

Saturday

This day I did Miss Caitlin Prom mini photo shoot, which was a lot of fun! Sh is so beautiful and I am excited to start editing them. Which I just finished one photo. Here take a look (:

Also on Saturday Curtis and I met up with Adam and his Gf Casey in Easley and rode to Greenville. Harley Davidson was having a car and bike show. The shop is really cool and big. That was the first time I went to the Greenville shop. I hope to ride somewhere else soon. I am wanting to go the mountains or to Helen GA. Anyways here some more photos (: I am wearing my new dress and heels... I just had to wear shorts so I could ride the bike :)

Sunday

Today was a little sad and lonely day. I am missing my mother. For the ones that don't know she moved to Maine 2 1/2 years ago. Since today was Mother's day and all kinda upset me a little because I get on facebook and see all the mothers and daughters posting photos and talking about their day. It just sadden me because I didn't have that today. I know I have my grandmothers and aunts, they aren't my mother. So it just wasn't the same. So today I picked honey suckles in honor of my Mother. We used to picked them and eat them together when I was child. I hope everyone else had a great Mother's Day!!

1. What I love most about my home: Hmmm. Well that I have a for-ever roommate, Curtis (: and my kitchen, like yall all know. I love to bake! oh and my red front door :)

2. I am excited because, that I will soon have my Bug back on the road! And I am excited for the summer and hoping to see some new great places!!!!

3. My preferred method for blowing off steam when I'm frustrated is: I jog, or I just cry my eyes out! Sometimes I also just listen to some crazy music very loudly. And I write too sometimes in my blog! I try to think of good times and that sometimes helps while I am doing all of this craziness. :)

4. Currently I am craving: a new tattoo, a hair cut, and a cupcake. A cute one (:

5. The Thing I love most about my Mom: She is so free spirited. I call her a modern day Hippie. And that she is always there if I need to talk to her. She the coolest person I know!!!

6. If I was going to write a book about myself, the title would be: " A Story of a Carolina Girl" I am not sure why I choose this, but I think it fits for me. I have only lived in the south and planning it staying that way.

7. If I were to eat one thing for the rest of eternity it would be: hmmm, I love spaghetti with my homemade from snatch sauce! Just yummy!!

I hope everyone had a great Easter and everyone remembers why we celebrate Easter! Curtis and I had a great Easter Weekend. We had his Family gathering Saturday. The Richey Easter Egg Hunt. Which is his whole family!! Then Sunday we went to Enon for Easter Service and had a lovely Easter lunch with my family. It was so good to spend the weekend with family! Also Curtis and I went for a ride on the motorcycle, went up to a tunnel in the mountains. We had to stop there because we were getting to close to NC which we would have to wear helmets. It was a good weekend!
