Spring & Summer Decor Ideas

Hey y'all!

So you all know that in a few days (5) I be heading back home to the good ole south. So with that said I am wanting to vamp up the house a bit, get it ready for Spring and Summer. I know it has to be looking rather manly with me being gone 6 months now. Curtis is not the let's make the house pretty and smell good kind of guy. So I know I am going to be doing some major Spring cleaning. I am wanting to add color to my Living Room and add some throw pillows to the sofa to start off with and add some pretty spring things to the mantel. SO I got on Pinterest and started to look for some ideas... here are some:

 I have been wanting some different types of Cactus in my house because for one they are almost impossible to kill. And they are a very lovely pop of color.

 I am hoping to paint the wall that connects the living room with the dinning room this color and I love the black chevron pillow too with that color. My sofa is about that color too.

 I love the saying.

 I am going to have to find some wall space to do this with, I love this idea!

Wedding Thursday: All about Cake Designs

Hey y'all! 

Sorry I have been away, I have been sick and have not had the energy to write anything. Maine is having crazy weather and I think that might have something to do with it. Anyways been pretty busy even though I have been sick. I will update yall later, now time for some Cake! 

Now In my last Wedding Post I was talking about our Wedding Colors. Which are Pink & Gold. Below are some wedding cakes that have our colors in the cake designs. I just love them all! 

Let them Eat Cake! 

 I like this one, I like that it looks as if there is lace on the cake.  Its just the cake looks lumpy :/

 I really like the one but I don't think I like the pattern. What do you think?

So those are some of my favorite Pink and Gold Cake designs that I have found. We are wanting either a 4 to 5 tier cake.. I was thinking 6 but that might be a little to much... as in height. I like either the pink fondant or the gold. I am thinking Gold with Pink ponies flowers. What do yall think?  We are thinking we have already found the person to make the cake. She is out of Easley and she make such lovely cakes. I love to hear your thoughts on the cakes. What kind of cake do you have at your wedding?

My Wedding Pinterest Boards

Hey y'all! I thought to share with you all my wedding Pinterest boards. I know I haven't formally announce mine and Curtis engagement yet but We are engaged! We are planning an engagement Party for February. We set the date for the wedding to be Sept. 6th 2013. We are so excited! So I will be posting all kinds of things wedding related. Though I even thought about starting a wedding blog, but then again I don't think so. Its too much work, I already have 2 photography sites and this blog to run.

Anyways back to pinterest you can follow me if you like on pinterest but here are screen shots of my boards. We are going for a whimsical country theme wedding. Almost like Alice & Wonderland vibe.  We are also thinking of using Pink and Orange for our colors, but then again I like Pink and Gold. So we don't know yet. Or even teal and gold. What do yall think???

This is really my second board, which I created after we picked our date and it ended up being Sept. 6, a Fall month. Which we are not going for a Fall theme. I think it is over done.

 This was my 1st wedding board, thinking we were going to get married in the spring. This board has a mixture of different ideas than my 2nd. Here you see Alice in Wonderland, beach, country, and a little modern. 

I now put all my wedding ideas in my 2nd board.

Wine and Flowers

Hey! Today I am posting some of my favorite wines... They are all red wines. I am not big on white, i believe its too dry.

1. This used to be the only type of Red Wine I would drink. This is my favorite brand for Pinot Noir besides Bolt, I believe its called. Not 100% sure. You can get this bottle at Wine market in Greenville SC for $12 and some change. 
2. This bottle is merlot. Its very tasty. Its pretty cheap too.. I got it at Bi-Lo one night for $8. I like the bottle logo design. 
3. This is my all time favorite and I can only get it from this winery. It is located in Charleston SC on Market St, and you pick it up or order it for $20.  Lord Ashley is the name of the type of wine (: 
4. I found this wine one night while I was at walmart. I have never had sweet red wine and this was a big bottle and the label was pretty cool. Well Its my favorite cheap wine. Its sweet and has no cheap wine after taste. Very fruity too.. I paid $6 and some change. 

I brought this wine the other day at Aldes for $3, I havent open it yet, I love the little owl on the bottle very cute(: Has anyone tried this one? 

Our yard after we fixed the flower beds now going to need to add some flowers. (: 

What your favorite wines? Any good ones I could try?

A lot has happened!

Hey yall!!
It has been awhile since I have posted anything and i feel really bad! I have been very busy! So to catch yall up on everything this is what has happened:
I got my awesome new Canon!
I have done some really neat shoots and my Gypsy shoot is this Saturday (:
The flower beds for the font yard are finished! I just have to add some more little plants and flowers..
Father's day weekend I went to Anderson Car Show. I got some pretty neat photos...
then.... I lost my internet for a week and half ): and I just got it back yesterday. I used up all my 8gs. I so wish I had regular internet. !!
I am very sad that I missed The Tea Party that was on the 25th. ):
Monday Curtis and I went water fall findings.. which was really awesome!! We took some awesome photos!

things I need to finish and start:
Curtis' mom gave us this awesome bench which we going to sandblast it and paint it bright red!
Work on my prints for my living room wall.
hang 21 pictures picture frame.
Paint Kitchen
Plan more theme shoots
Also Plan Maine and Salem Mass. Trip in OCT... [ very EXCITING]
hmmm Save some money and get a little part time job. besides my photography.
