What I am reading now and Instagram photos

Hey y'all
It has been a while since I have done a post! I miss blogging and being back at home it seems to be a little harder to do because I seem to be busy or I just don't have anything to say. Anyway. How is everyone? How is everyone enjoying all this Spring rain? It is finally pretty and HOT outside! I am excited because I can wear my tanks and shorts now. Not a whole lot has happen since the last time I posted I don't think.

I got my nose pierced and well it hurt so much omg it hurt! I jumped and tears ran. It was worst than a tattoo. And if I bump it or rub it the wrong way it hurts. But it healing pretty fast it still to early to change out the stud. I am wanting to put in a ring. I think it more hippie like with a ring.
Here are some pics of my Nose... Curtis and I before I got it done and the 2nd is after I had it done. Don't mind the eye brows they are a mess in that photo!!

So that's about it that has happened. I hung out with my bridesmaid a few Saturdays back, we went dress shopping which that was stressful! But I have some news. WE are pushing the wedding back a year because the venue is booked and we really like it so we are going to get married next year so that takes some stress away. AND we have more time to plan but my dress will still be here end of June! So I am super excited!

Here some more lovely photos from May!
I now have an iPhone!!!! yay! That means I have an Instagram so follow me @glitterandcupcakess

Now for what I am reading now...  Let's just say this is amazing book and it is a must read for Christians. :))

This month goals: I figure I would share on her.
Jog and workout 2 to 3 times a week, drink lots of water,  cut back on my sweet intake. I know I am always say I am going to get back to 150 but hey I am DAMN motivated to loose and tone up. I am tired of having flab and a belly!
My goal is to loose 20 pounds by the end of June. I think thats realistic. And 30 to 50 by the end of July.
I am not going to post a photo of some celeb because that is not realistic so I am going to post a photo what I used to look like when I started dating Curtis so this photo is 4 years old and I am going to post a now picture. I think I am 180ish now.

At 150lbs: Even then I could have toned up more but Its realistic bc I once was that size and I am still the same height. I might not have the same metabolism so it will take more work but I am willing to try to get back to this size. SO wish me luck!

Now for the NOW picture.... :// Be nice!! So you seem my problem areas. I think I can do it, no I KNOW I can do it!! :D

What I am Reading: sTORI Telling & New Shoes

Hey y'all!
Hope everyone is doing good. I have been rather busy and had not had the time to do a post for you guys. So day I want to do a post on what I am currently reading. Since I am in Maine, Northern Maine... There are really not a lot of book stores. I really don't buy new books unless is something I been dying to read. So here in the area i am in. There is Catholic Charities (thrift store) and they have an awesome used book area of the store. So few weeks ago I heard about that all their books are 10 for $1 crazy I know. I just didn't believe it. So I went to go check it out. Lets just say it was a pretty awesome 1 hour of my life. They have so many good, wonderful, and yummy books to choose from. I ended up buying 8 books the 1st go around and the second trip my mom and I got 10 or so.  That is when I found the book I am currently reading and her latest one.

sTORI Telling by Tori Spelling

This is her first book she has wrote. I wasn't too sure what to think about the book. I just know I love her in her show and some of her movies. So I sat down and started reading it. Well lets just say it's a page turner.  I am really enjoying the book. It is funny and I love the way she writes, it like she really talking to you face to face. It is also very informative, I learned things I never knew about her and things that I thought I knew and it turned out to be lies. I also love it that she is just like any other girl. Tori shares stories about her childhood, how she became an actress.
I am not done with the book yet, but I am now starting the part about her and her 1st husband.
So if you want a good easy read and a fan of Tori I highly suggest it. :D

Yesterday's Fine: Guess Black Pumps for $10 on sale (amazing!!!) They are so Marilyn! They are very soft and easy to walk in.

Ps what do yall think of my new layout?

Now for what I am reading- The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets: Eva Rice

I normally don't post what I am currently reading but the book is just wonderful and I had to share it! And it based in Nov/Dec and talks about holiday parties and such. I love it so, I am just on Chapter 9, the chapters are somewhat long. Its an easy read and its rather funny it quirky way. I am just in love with Charlotte so far, she so free spirited in a high fashion kinda way. And her cousin Harry well he odd that it makes he so handsome.  I suggest it for what I read so far. You buy it from amazon if you like. I got my mind at Books a Million for $3, that is the reason why I bought it. Thinking it might be good, and I was right :P
 ( from Amazon)
Set in 1950s London, The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets centers around Penelope, the wide- eyed daughter of a legendary beauty, Talitha, who lost her husband to the war. Penelope, with her mother and brother, struggles to maintain their vast and crumbling ancestral home—while postwar London spins toward the next decade’s cultural revolution.
Penelope wants nothing more than to fall in love, and when her new best friend, Charlotte, a free spirit in the young society set, drags Penelope into London with all of its grand parties, she sets in motion great change for them all. Charlotte’s mysterious and attractive brother Harry uses Penelope to make his American ex-girlfriend jealous, with unforeseen consequences, and a dashing, wealthy American movie producer arrives with what might be the key to Penelope’s— and her family’s—future happiness.
Vibrant, witty, and filled with vivid historical detail, The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets is an utterly unique debut novel about a time and place just slipping into history.

so there you have it!
